Summer Camps
Petites (Ages 4-5) & Juniors (Ages 6-9)
Monday through Friday, 9:00-12:00 PM (Early/Late options available)
Let your child’s imagination take center stage! Designed for ages 4-5 and 6-9, our Summer Dance Camps combine the joy of dancing with fun movement games, arts and crafts, and story-time fun! Imagination thrives in the magical world of storybook adventures! Enchant and delight as dance steps unlock doors to new lands. Dramatize and transform while leaping through the pages of your favorite storybooks. Also, dancers will create wands, tiaras, crowns, coloring pages and more! Learn choreography as you play, sing and dance to the music of your favorite characters. Through movement and dance, write your own story, and then share it with your friends and family! Everyone has a ball and lives happily ever after! Live your dreams and cherish the magic of each day…. and share it with your friends and family at the end-of-the-week Mini Performance!🌟

Summer Intensives
Summer is the perfect time to hone technique and expand technical repertoire. That is, without the demands of school and homework, dancers can focus wholeheartedly on dance. Classes in ballet technique, pre-pointe/pointe, variations, choreography, and strengthening provide the foundations in strength and technique necessary for today’s dancer. Our goal is strong, educated, healthy, and versatile dancers.

Something for Everyone!
There truly is something for dancers big and small here at IAD. While we offer Summer Camps for our littlest dancers, we also offer classes, workshops, and intensives for children, teens, and adults. And that’s not all—summers at IAD are dedicated to exploration and creativity. So we encourage all dancers to break the mold and try something new: be it a new dance style, choreographing for the first (or five-hundredth) time, or setting new goals.
