Nutcracker: Performance Showing at the Movies!
We’re so excited to announce that we’ll be showing this year’s performance in the big theater! You’re welcome to join us in watching this Nutcracker Movie Showing, but spots are filling fast and RSVP (as well as pre-paying) is required.
What, when, where?
We had such stellar performances this year, that we decided to host a movie afternoon with you all! Relive the magic of the performance on Saturday, January 28th from 2:00-5:00 PM at the CineLux of Scotts Valley. The first performance (1:00 PM) will begin in-theater at 2:00 PM, and go until 3:30 PM. The second performance (4:30 PM) will begin in-theater at 3:30 PM and go until 5:00 PM.
How do you reserve tickets?
Saving your seat is as easy as filling out a Google Form—literally! Just fill out this form: Nutcracker at the Movies RSVP Form by January 14th (that’s this Saturday!) to reserve your spot.
Filling out the form is mandatory, as is submitting payment, by the 14th. Each ticket is only $10, and is half off for performers in the show! Seeing the Nutcracker Movie Showing is a great way to spend an afternoon for some good, clean, family fun.
Bring Home Something Special.
Each year of Santa Cruz City Ballet (at the International Academy of Dance) is magical, but this year was extra magical—thanks to our Souvenir Booklet. We held contests accepting art, writing, puzzles, and trivia that we then published into our program! The result is a beautiful and nostalgic booklet that many dancers will cherish for years to come.
