Want to know what we’ve been up to this October at IAD? This October, we have a new Halloween Show! That’s right—we’re in crunch time for our new performance, the Spooky Nutcracker! This will be our first-ever Halloween Nutcracker, featuring Clara’s nightmare on the night before the night before Christmas.

What will the Spooky Nutcracker have in store for audience members? Well first off, it will be more than just a performance. That’s right—our Nightmare Before Nutcracker is designed to be a cultivated experience. From the moment you step foot into the haunted theater, to when you watch the cast and crew take their bows—you’ll be blown away by the entire thing!
Costume Contest, Photo Op, Games, and More!
Our Lobby will be filled with spooky things audience members are invited to interact with. To add to the atmosphere, we invite all audience members to dress up (it’s more fun if you’re involved!). We even created an in-studio Halloween Committee for the event. Building community and bringing joy through dance—that’s what the International Academy of Dance is all about!
