We need volunteers for run-throughs, rehearsals in-theater, shows, and even sewing and prop help. There are a plethora of ways you can help out depending on your preference and capacity.

Please be sure to always show up at least 15 minutes before the listed times! This ensures that dancers have enough time to get settled in, and make any adjustments if needed.

Run-Throughs @ IAD

As you all know, we will have two run-throughs at IAD on 5/16 and 5/30.

Here are the exceptions:

• Adults have run-throughs 5/15 and 5/29.
• Level V/VI have run-throughs 5/15, 5/29, and 5/30 (depending on which classes you’re enrolled in).

First Run-Through at IAD (5/15 & 5/16): Dress Rehearsal!

Please have your costume and hair  (but no make-up) be performance-ready for the First Run-Through at IAD 5/15 & 5/16. Costumes includes all additional parts like shoes, headpieces, and tights.

Second Run-Through at IAD (5/29 & 5/30): Make-up!

Please have your make-up and hair performance-ready for the Second Run-Through at IAD 5/29 & 5/30. If your costumes were correct and complete in the First Run-Through on 5/15 & 5/16, then costumes are not required on the Second Run-Through at IAD (5/29 & 5/30). That said, if you have any quick changes the Second Run-Through is a great time to practice!

Rehearsals in Theater

We will be in-theater (at the Landing) for rehearsals starting June 1st.

Full In-Theater Rehearsal Schedule

Monday, June 1st: Spacing/Tech

The first rehearsal day in-theater will be just for spacing and tech, so most people* will not need to be in costume. Please arrive in your normal dancewear but there is no need for costumes or make-up (unless you want to practice a quick-change).

*The following classes have their Full Dress Rehearsal on Monday 6/1:

• Tap/Jazz Mini
• Lyrical/Jazz Basics/I
• Tap I

If your dancer is in any of the three classes listed above, please have them come with full costume, hair, make-up—everything performance-ready on Monday 6/1. 

Monday 6/1 Rehearsal Schedule

Tuesday, June 2nd: FULL Dress Rehearsal

This second rehearsal day in-theater will be a full dress rehearsal, and the show will run from start to finish as if it were a real show.

All classes must be performance-ready with:

• Full costume (including shoes, tights, undergarments, etc)
• Hair
• Make-Up

Tuesday 6/2 Rehearsal Schedule

Wednesday June 3rd & Thursday June 4th

Call Times

Call Times are an hour before the top of each show:

1. Show 1 (Wed 6/3 at 5:30 PM): Call Time is 4:30 PM
2. Show 2 (Thurs 6/4 at 5:30 PM): Call Time is 4:30 PM
3. Show 3 (Fri 6/5 at 2:00 PM): Call Time is 1:00 PM
4. Show 4 (Fri 6/5 at 5:30 PM): Call Time is 4:30 PM

Costumes

Costumes will be picked up from the studio, and signed out either by the dancer (Level III+) or by a parent/guardian (Level II and below). Please look at the document below to see what additional things are needed for each class:

• Hair, Shoes, Tights, Etc

Please note: Costumes for Level II and below will be kept by the dancers after the final show. Costumes for Level III/IV and above must be returned to the studio after the final show.
