Dance your way to Broadway in this energizing class, including dance styles from theater, latin, lyrical, and strong classical jazz!
Broadway Jazz hones technique, performance quality and the ability to retain choreographed phrases and routines in a variety of styles.
The class begins with placement, stretch and strength, moving into isolations and across the floor with an emphasis on turns, kicks and jumps.
Using the movements learned in class, dancers work on choreographed combinations to contemporary music.

  • Broadway Jazz 1 is for beginners, however, this class may be repeated at least once depending on the age and ability of the dancer. There is much to learn and master in each level before progressing. Broadway Jazz is for all young dancers new to this style regardless of age.

  • Broadway Jazz 2 focuses on each dancers style, individuality and performance quality. Broadway Jazz hones technique, performance quality and the ability to retain choreographed phrases and routines in a variety of styles. Ballet & Lyrical are strongly recommended. This class may be repeated several times.

  • Broadway Jazz 3 focuses on each dancers style, individuality and performance quality. Broadway Jazz hones technique, performance quality and the ability to retain choreographed phrases and routines in a variety of styles. Ballet & Lyrical are strongly recommended.
